The Ord Arms is a self classified 8 bedroomed, 2 family run hotel offering a friendly, relaxed atmosphere to all our guests including facilities such as a wifi, flat screen televisions showing Sky channels. All rooms are non smoking. The restaurant opens from 5.00 - 8.30pm Monday to Saturday although seasonal variations may apply. The restaurant is closed on Sundays from 1st September to 30th April. A very reasonably priced restaurant menu is available and high teas also served daily from 5.00-6.30pm. Please note that the hotel has a strict policy whereby food is not allowed to be taken up to rooms and any food purchased outwith the hotel should be consumed off the premises. Very generous car parking available and coach parties are welcome for meal stop offs by prior arrangement. Please note that the hotel does not have a 24 hour receptionSituated in the centre of the village there are many 'door step' attractions including Glen Ord Distillery and Muir of Ord Golf Club which are approximately a 5 minute car drive or 10 minute walk from the hotel. The city of Inverness is 15 minutes by car and trains and buses also run regularly from the village with the station and bus stop situated within walking distance from the hotel.Visitor attractions within a 20 minute drive from the hotel are the beaches of Fortrose and Rosemarkie where dolphin watching is a major attraction. Approximately 40 minutes to 1 hour drive of the hotel are Ben Wyvis, one of the Munro mountains which is large enough to offer an excellent day out and Rogie Falls with its water fall and suspension bridge. Also Glen Affric renowned for the glory of its woodlands and classical blend of natural forest, shimmering loch and rugged hills offers wonderful views and walks.

Follow the A9 North passing over the Kessock Bridge, follow the dual carriage until Tore roundabout. Take the 1st exit onto the A832 signposted Muir of Ord. On reaching the crossroads follow on over traffic controlled bridge drive, carry on 200 yards and the hotel is on the right hand side.
